The Hospice Foundation is primarily funded through the amazing support of LifeSong Hospice patients and their families. When a tribute or memorial donation is received, it allows the circle of support and caring to continue onward to assist patients and families in need.

Some requests include attending a family reunion, a plane ticket home to say goodbye, or a dinner date out at a favorite restaurant.
When someone is facing end of life, financial needs may become even more difficult. Whether it be helping with an electric or grocery bill or assisting a spouse of a loved one who is under our care and is dependent on their income, the Foundation is here to assist.
Our funding for program development includes special programs that enhance the end of life experience beyond what is paid for by insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. Legacy projects that celebrate a life well-lived, the compassion of a canine or other animal - pet therapy, and funding for end of life interns needing experience – are just a few more examples.
